Cadmore Lodge Golf Club
About Cadmore Lodge Golf Club
Cadmore Lodge Golf Club sits near Tenbury Wells, a small market town often described as sitting at the meeting point of three counties, close to the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire borders. The surrounding countryside is quiet and hilly, part of the Teme Valley, with the River Teme itself running close to the town on its way toward Worcester. Tenbury Wells grew as a Victorian spa town, taking its 'Wells' name from a saline spring discovered in the nineteenth century, and it retains a small-town character with black-and-white timbered buildings on its high street. The club is built around a lodge, with the course laid out on the surrounding grounds. This part of the Teme Valley is known for orchards and hop yards as well as pasture, land that has shaped a landscape of scattered farms and small woods rather than open plain. Its position away from any large city gives the club a rural setting reached mainly by the roads running through Tenbury Wells itself.
