The UK's Independent Golf Course Directory

The United Kingdom is one of the great golfing nations. England alone has more than 1,900 affiliated clubs, according to England Golf. Scotland — where the game was born — contributes a further 550+ courses, from remote Highland links to well-known championship venues. Wales and Ireland add hundreds more, each with their own distinct landscapes and traditions. In total, the UK and Ireland host over 2,500 courses between them, more per head of population than almost anywhere on earth (R&A, Golf Around the World, 2023).

However, finding the right course has always required jumping between club websites, tourist boards, and booking platforms — none of which give a complete picture. GeoGolf Course was built to fix that. It is a single, free directory that covers England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the Isle of Wight in one place.

In addition, GeoGolf Course is entirely independent. We are not a booking platform, not affiliated with England Golf, Scottish Golf, the R&A, or any other golf association, and not sponsored by individual clubs. That independence means every listing is based on factual information rather than commercial relationships. Browsing is completely free — no account required.

As a result, golfers get straightforward, unbiased course information: addresses, phone numbers, course type, holes and par, plus a map and user reviews. Whether you are planning a golfing holiday, looking for a new home course, or just curious about what is nearby, GeoGolf Course is the quickest way to find your next round anywhere in the UK.
