About Farthingstone Golf Club

Farthingstone Golf Club sits in open countryside near Towcester in south Northamptonshire, an eighteen-hole parkland course established in 1973 that plays to a par of 70 over 6,325 yards. The rural setting gives the layout wide, open fairways and a peaceful, unhurried atmosphere away from the busier clubs closer to Northampton, with members and visitors alike able to enjoy a round at their own pace. Beyond the golf course itself, the club has developed into a small country retreat, with sixteen en-suite hotel rooms on site alongside a sixty-seat restaurant and a comfortable bar and lounge area, making it a practical base for golf breaks or society days rather than simply a place to play a round. A golf shop serves members and visitors, and a fleet of golf cars is available for hire for those who prefer not to walk the full distance. For golfers looking for something beyond the fairways, the club also offers squash and snooker facilities. Tee times can be booked in advance, and the combination of accommodation, catering and golf under one roof makes Farthingstone a reasonably self-contained destination for visiting parties travelling into rural Northamptonshire.
