About Glynhir Golf Club

The Club was formed nearly 100 years ago and was originally located in Llandeilo, some 10 miles from its present location. It is our centinary in 2010. In 1967 the Club moved to its present location and became GLYNHIR GOLF CLUB. The Golf Course is located at the foot of the Black Mountains in an area of outstanding natural beauty. In addition to the beauty of the area, there is an abundance of 'wild life', where you could see otters, badgers, foxes together with a wide variety of birds, including red kites, herons, buzzards and many other species. This makes a visit to GLYNHIR GOLF CLUB an even more enjoyable experience.

Where to find it

The address is Glynhir Road, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, SA18 2TF. It is about 14 miles from Swansea. That is a straight-line distance. The sidebar links to the club website and lists its phone number. Use the map below, since it shows the exact spot.

Check the club website for tee times, because visitor rules differ by club. Ask for the current green fee, since we do not list one. Pack a waterproof layer, because UK weather changes fast.
