At a glance

Newport Golf Club is a golf course in Newport, Isle of Wight. Although we do not yet list its holes or par, the map will help you plan a visit.

We hold the address, a map pin, the club website and a phone number. We do not yet hold its number of holes, par, length and green fees. The club is the best source for those.

About Newport Golf Club

The Golf Course is set out to make you think about every shot and the reward is that whatever your handicap, you will want to play it again and again. Your start on the first gives you a taste of what is to come, keep it to the left of the fairway and consult your card for the rest of the round! We believe we have in our 5th followed by the 6th one of the best two back to back holes in Golf. The fact that it is only a nine hole course should not cloud your thoughts, as the back 9 tee arrangement on some of the holes gives you further challenges and you get another opportunity to have a ‘crack’ at some of the others again.

Where to find it

The address is St Georges Down, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 2JB. It is about 12 miles from Portsmouth. It is about 15 miles from Southampton. Those are straight-line distances. The sidebar links to the club website and lists its phone number. The map below marks the course, so you can check the route first.

Check the club website for tee times, because visitor rules differ by club. Ask for the current green fee, since we do not list one. Pack a waterproof layer, because UK weather changes fast.
