About Whitefields Golf Club

Whitefields Golf Club plays to a par of 71 over 6,289 yards across 18 holes just outside Rugby, the Warwickshire town best known as the birthplace of rugby football and, before that, as a railway junction at the centre of England. The club sits in the county's gently rolling arable landscape between Rugby and Coventry, an area of red-brick market towns and hedged farmland rather than dramatic scenery. Warwickshire's golf courses tend to follow this pattern of parkland laid over former farm ground close to the county's towns, and Whitefields' length and par place it as a full test for members and visitors playing out of Rugby. The town's position on the West Coast Main Line and near the M1 and M6 makes the course accessible from Birmingham, Coventry and Northampton alike, serving golfers across this central England crossroads rather than a single town.
