About Griffin Golf Club

Caddington lies on the northern edge of the Chiltern Hills, just outside Luton on the Bedfordshire side of the Bedfordshire-Hertfordshire boundary, with the chalk escarpment rising close by and the built-up edge of Luton and Dunstable spreading beneath it. The village sits at a natural break between town and open farmland, giving the immediate area a mix of suburban edge and rolling arable countryside. Golf here is shaped by that transition zone: gentle chalk contours rather than dramatic elevation, hedgerows dividing fields that were farmland long before any club was laid out, and views back towards the Luton skyline from the higher ground. Its position just off the A505 and within a short drive of the M1 makes it an easy stop for golfers travelling between Bedfordshire and the Chilterns, while the club itself serves the immediate Caddington and Luton community as a local, everyday course. The setting places it within the commuter belt north of London, close enough to the capital for weekend visitors yet distinctly Bedfordshire in character.
