About Penrhos Golf & Country Club

Penrhos Golf & Country Club is set in Ceredigion, the coastal county of west Wales that stretches from the Dyfi estuary in the north down to the county town of Cardigan in the south. The postcode, SY23, places it close to Aberystwyth, the university town that serves as Ceredigion's main centre and sits on Cardigan Bay. Ceredigion is a largely rural county of small farms, market towns and a coastline of cliffs and sandy coves, with Aberystwyth acting as the hub for shopping, transport and student life in the area. The course itself is played over 18 holes. Golfers based at Penrhos are within reach of the Cardigan Bay coastline, the Cambrian Mountains inland, and the narrow-gauge railways that run into the hills from towns along this stretch of coast. Ceredigion has a lower population density than most of England and Wales, and Aberystwyth remains its only settlement of any real size, making the surrounding countryside correspondingly quiet.

Where to find it

The address is Llanrhystud, Ceredigion, SY23 5AY. The sidebar links to the club website and lists its phone number. The map below marks the course, so you can check the route first.

Check the club website for tee times, because visitor rules differ by club. Ask for the current green fee, since we do not list one. Pack a waterproof layer, because UK weather changes fast.
