About Cilgwyn Golf Club

Cilgwyn Golf Club is based near Lampeter, a small university town in Ceredigion set well inland from the Cardigan Bay coast, in the hill country of mid-Wales rather than the more golf-heavy coastal belt further north and south. Ceredigion is one of the least densely populated counties in Wales, and a course here serves a rural catchment rather than a large town or city, with the club's sections for men, ladies, seniors and juniors reflecting a membership drawn from the surrounding countryside rather than passing visitors. The SA48 postcode sits close to the University of Wales Trinity Saint David's Lampeter campus, giving the club a connection to the town's small but long-established academic community as well as to the farming land around it.

Where to find it

The address is Llangybi, Lampeter, Ceredigion, SA48 8NN. The sidebar links to the club website and lists its phone number. The map below marks the course, so you can check the route first.

Check the club website for tee times, because visitor rules differ by club. Ask for the current green fee, since we do not list one. Pack a waterproof layer, because UK weather changes fast.
