About Eastwood Golf Club

Eastwood Golf Club occupies elevated ground at Newton Mearns, on the southern edge of Glasgow, with fairways running between mature trees and open views stretching towards the Renfrewshire hills. The course rewards accurate placement off the tee rather than raw length, with the higher sections of the layout offering wide outlooks over the surrounding countryside. Practice facilities include a 300-yard range, pitching greens and bunkers, plus two separate putting greens for members and visitors to warm up before a round. The clubhouse has been upgraded in stages since the early 2000s and now provides several lounges, including a smaller room overlooking the 18th green that is often chosen by visiting parties wanting a quieter, more private space to relax after their round. Outings and societies are catered for throughout the year, and the club's setting in East Renfrewshire places it within easy reach of Glasgow city centre while retaining a distinctly rural feel. The combination of tree-lined holes, elevated tees and well-equipped short-game practice areas makes it a popular choice for both club members and groups visiting the area for a day's golf.
