About Fairhaven Golf Club

Fairhaven Golf Club sits on Lancashire's stretch of coastline often referred to locally as the Golf Coast, close to Lytham St Annes, an area that includes several well-known championship courses. Although it can be overshadowed by some of its more famous neighbours, Fairhaven is recognised as one of the strong championship-standard courses in the north of England. The layout includes a demanding closing sequence built around a lengthy par 5, with the hole playing at different distances depending on the tees used, ranging from around 470 yards up to over 520 yards at its longest. That variation allows the club to adjust the challenge of the finishing stretch for different levels of competition and everyday play. The course sits within the wider cluster of links and coastal golf found around Lytham St Annes, giving it a similar exposed, breezy character to its better-known neighbours. Facilities include a full visitor booking system, membership options and a programme of open competitions run through the year. Its position on Oakwood Avenue places it a short distance from the town, making it an accessible option for golfers exploring the courses along this section of the Fylde coast.
