About Luffness New Golf Club

Welcome to Luffness New Golf Club Visitors/Members web site. There can be few more stimulating courses than Luffness New. One can be astonished in middle age to walk off the eighteenth green feeling so invigorated and refreshed. The nature of the turf probably has something to do with this, being of the springy type which gives gently to the feet, like a rich Persian carpet. The sea air too has its beneficial qualities and the course is sensibly flat apart from minor undulations associated with seaside courses. On good days and bad, Luffness offers a feeling of escape, allied to a sense of challenge and enjoyment that few other courses can match.

Where to find it

The address is Aberlady, EH32 OQA, East Lothian. It is about 9.2 miles from Edinburgh. That is a straight-line distance. The sidebar links to the club website and lists its phone number. The map below marks the course, so you can check the route first.

Check the club website for tee times, because visitor rules differ by club. Ask for the current green fee, since we do not list one. Pack a waterproof layer, because UK weather changes fast.
