Our Mission
GeoGolf Course exists to make it easy for UK golfers to find the right course for their next round — whatever their budget, ability, or location. We believe every golfer should have access to comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date course information without having to pay a subscription or wade through booking engines.
The original GeoGolf Course directory went live in the early 2000s and listed hundreds of courses across the UK. We rebuilt it from scratch in 2024, combining the original data with current contact details, user reviews, and modern search functionality. The result is the most complete free golf course directory in the UK.
What We Cover
Our listings cover England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the Isle of Wight. Each course entry includes the club name, full address, phone number, website, course type, holes, par, and a map. Where available, we also include golfer reviews and ratings. Golf course owners can update or add listings at any time using our free submission form.
How We Build Our Listings
GeoGolf Course listings are compiled from multiple sources: the original directory data, public records, golf club websites, and submissions from course owners and managers. We verify contact details regularly and prioritise accuracy over volume.
User reviews are submitted by registered members. We do not edit or moderate reviews for sentiment — only for spam and guideline violations. Course owners can respond to reviews via their account dashboard.
GeoGolf Team
The GeoGolf editorial team are UK-based golfers with experience covering courses from Aberdovey to Sunningdale. We write the golf guides on this site, maintain the course listings, and respond to course owner enquiries. We are independent — not affiliated with any booking platform, golf association, or course operator.
