England has the largest number of clubs of any UK region. Its courses range from historic parkland in the Home Counties to championship links along the coast. Because the terrain varies so much between counties, England covers nearly every course type. You'll find it all somewhere in the UK.

Scotland is widely known as golf's birthplace. Its coastline holds many traditional links courses, where wind and dune do more shaping than any architect. Many Scottish clubs date back well over a century. Although modern parkland courses are common further inland too.

Wales and Ireland add a mix of coastal links and inland parkland, often set against dramatic scenery. The Pembrokeshire coast and the Irish Atlantic coast both have long golfing traditions. Since these are smaller regions than England, a single search often turns up courses close together. That suits a short golfing break.
