Evesham Golf Club

Evesham Golf Club is based near Pershore in Worcestershire, in the heart of the Vale of Evesham, and plays over eighteen holes across open, unobstructed fairways. The club has built in a degree of flexibility to cope with difficult weather: when conditions turn especially wet, the layout can be adapted so that members play a shortened combination of six, nine or twelve holes rather than the full round, keeping the course playable through the winter months. An additional par three has also been introduced to the layout, which allows the club to continue running qualifying competitions over an officially measured course even when circumstances call for a change to the usual routing. This practical approach reflects a club that prioritises keeping golf accessible throughout the year over maintaining a single fixed layout regardless of conditions. Set within the fruit-growing land of the Vale of Evesham, the surrounding countryside is flat and open, which suits the wide fairways found across the course. The club operates as a members' organisation but welcomes visitors and hosts news and events through the year, positioning itself as a straightforward, functional golf club for the local area rather than a resort-style destination, with a focus on consistent access to the course.
