Fleetwood Golf Club
8 miles north of Blackpool and 1 mile south of the port of Fleetwood, the course offers a tough challenge for those who wish to travel from inland courses and experience the game under coastal conditions just as they may have done in 1421 before parkland courses were introduced. The balcony of the imposing clubhouse overlooks 16 of the 18 holes and offers spectacular and breathtaking views of both the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. On summer evenings members & visitors lingering over a cold drink are afforded unrivalled views of the Isle of Man with the setting sun as a panoramic backdrop. The course itself is a testing championship length of 6500 yards with prevailing winds being a major factor in how the course plays from day to day. Designed by James Steer and opened in 1932 Fleet
