Milton Keynes Golf Club

🤍

Milton Keynes Golf Club is based in Two Mile Ash, one of the grid-square districts that make up the planned town of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. The town was developed from the late 1960s onward around a grid of estate roads and green corridors, and Two Mile Ash sits toward the northern part of that grid, within reach of the wider network of parks, redways and open land that Milton Keynes was designed to include alongside its housing and employment areas. Golf facilities across Milton Keynes tend to sit within or alongside these green corridors, taking advantage of land set aside during the town's original planning rather than being carved out of older agricultural estates, which gives many of the area's courses a more recent, purpose-built character compared with historic clubs elsewhere in the country. The club serves golfers living across the northern grid squares of the town, offering a course within a short drive of the residential areas of Two Mile Ash and neighbouring districts. As part of a new town built with recreational land use in mind from the outset, Milton Keynes Golf Club reflects that planning approach, sitting within the town's wider structure of green space rather than on its outskirts.
