Rye Hill Golf Club

Rye Hill Golf Club is set in around 200 acres of rolling countryside in north Oxfordshire, six miles from Banbury and close to junction 11 of the M40. The eighteen-hole championship course combines parkland and heathland features across its layout, with several lakes coming into play and views out over the surrounding countryside and wildlife from many of the holes. It plays to a par of 72, measuring 5,900 yards from the general play tees and stretching to 6,900 yards from the match tees, a length that has previously made it suitable as a venue for Euro Pro Tour events. Large, undulating greens and generously shaped fairways are a feature throughout the round. A practice area roughly 300 yards long gives golfers room to work on longer clubs, and hire balls are available from the pro shop for those wanting to warm up before their round. Societies of eight or more are welcomed from Monday to Friday and at weekends, with packages that can be tailored to include breakfast or a full meal alongside the golf. With its position just off the M40, Rye Hill is a practical stop for golfers travelling through north Oxfordshire as well as for local members and visitors from Banbury itself.
