Sandy Lodge Golf Club

🤍

Officially opened on July 16, 1910, when Harry Vardon and James Braid took part in an exhibition match, the course has since undergone some subtle changes. The redevelopment following WWII left intact the sleepers at the 2nd and 10th, as well as the Mae West mounds at the 12th. The year 2000 saw a redevelopment that re-bunkered the course, added subtle mounding, and altered a few tee positions. The overall objective was successful in creating a more strategic course that challenges players of all ages and skill levels
