Ireland Golf Courses

Ireland is regarded as one of the world's great golf destinations, with over 400 courses spanning the Republic and Northern Ireland. The country's Atlantic coastline produces some of Europe's most dramatic links golf, from Ballybunion in Kerry to Lahinch in Clare and Royal County Down in the north.

Irish links courses are defined by their extraordinary dune systems, clifftop settings, and exposure to the Atlantic. Ballybunion Old Course, Lahinch, Waterville, and Old Head of Kinsale are among the most visited by international golfers. Royal County Down and Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland regularly feature in world top-ten lists.

Parkland golf is equally strong. Druids Glen, Mount Juliet, and The K Club (host of the 2006 Ryder Cup) offer resort-quality parkland experiences. Green fees range from under €20 at county courses to €400+ at the most famous links destinations.
