Chipstead Golf Club

Chipstead Golf Club is based near Coulsdon in Surrey, close to the village of Chipstead on the North Downs. The clubhouse complex includes function rooms, a dining area, a restaurant and a bar, alongside a professional's shop stocked for members and visitors. The course runs across tree-lined fairways typical of this part of the North Downs landscape, where chalk grassland gives way to belts of woodland across much of the higher ground. Chipstead village sits on the greensand and chalk boundary that defines much of this stretch of Surrey, within reach of Coulsdon, Banstead and Kingswood, and close to the M25 and the railway line into London via Purley. The club's facilities extend beyond golf itself, with the function space used for private and corporate events in addition to the usual golfing activity. Its position within the North Downs area places it alongside a cluster of other established clubs along the ridge, sharing the same chalk-influenced terrain and tree cover.
