Cuckfield Golf Centre

Cuckfield Golf Centre is based in the village of Cuckfield in mid Sussex, a few miles north of Haywards Heath and close to the county's border with Surrey. Cuckfield is one of the older settlements in this part of West Sussex, with a historic core of Georgian and older buildings that predates the Victorian growth of Haywards Heath, which developed around the railway a mile or so to the east. The surrounding countryside sits within the High Weald, an area of small fields, scattered woodland and sandstone ridges that stretches across this part of Sussex and Kent, and much of the land immediately around the village remains farmed or wooded rather than built up. The RH17 postcode area takes in a scatter of similar Wealden villages, and the A272 running past Cuckfield gives reasonably direct access east and west across mid Sussex, as well as a route north towards the M23 and Gatwick.
