Fairwood Park Golf Club
Fairwood Park Golf Club is located in Swansea, on the western side of the city close to the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, the stretch of coastline that became Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956. This puts the club in one of the more scenic corners of Glamorgan, within reach of both the city itself and the beaches, cliffs and dunes further out along Gower. Swansea's golf courses tend to sit either close to the urban centre or, like Fairwood Park, on its fringes where the city meets open countryside heading towards Gower. The SA2 postcode places it on the airport side of the city, making it a reasonably short journey from both central Swansea and the M4.
