About Hever Castle Golf Club

Hever Castle Golf Club is laid out within the grounds of the Hever Castle estate in Kent, a historic property whose grounds extend well beyond the moated castle itself to include the parkland now used for golf. The course takes in views of the castle across several holes, giving the round a backdrop unlike most parkland courses built on land without an existing historic estate attached. Fairways are maintained to a standard consistent with the wider estate, which also includes formal gardens and other visitor attractions around the castle. Facilities at the club extend to the kind of amenities expected of a course attached to a major heritage estate, aimed at both golfing members and visitors combining a round with a wider visit to the grounds. The Hever setting, in the Kent countryside near Edenbridge, places the club within a part of the county known for historic houses and estates, of which the castle and its surrounding parkland are among the most visited examples.
