Two courses make up Ramsdale Park Golf Centre, near Arnold in Nottinghamshire: the Hawtree-designed Seely Course, playing 6,672 yards to a par of 71 over 18 holes, and the Lee Course, an 18-hole par-3 layout of 2,844 yards with holes ranging from 100 to 207 yards and averaging 158 yards. On the Seely Course, the front nine runs through parkland while the back nine crosses hillside terrain; notable holes include the 549-yard par-5 15th, the 155-yard par-3 6th, the 525-yard par-5 13th with its dogleg from left to right, and the 455-yard closing hole. Green fees range from £20 to £48. The centre includes a driving range and a programme of lessons and coaching, and visitors can book tee times online up to seven days ahead without needing membership; a mobile app also handles bookings, food and drink orders, and membership renewal. Arnold lies on the northern edge of Nottingham, within the NG14 postcode area of Nottinghamshire, in countryside that rises towards Sherwood Forest to the north, an area long associated with the coal and hosiery industries that shaped this part of the county through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
