Thorne Golf Club

Thorne Golf Club is a family-owned club near Doncaster, in the flat, low-lying country of the Yorkshire and Humberside borderland where the rivers Don, Trent and Ouse converge before draining into the Humber estuary. This part of eastern England, drained and reclaimed over centuries for arable farming, gives the area around Thorne a distinctly flat, open character quite different from the Pennine hills further west in Yorkshire.
