Woburn Golf Club
Woburn Golf Club is unique in being able to offer its members and guests a choice of three championship courses. This puts Woburn in an unrivalled position and means any day spent on the Dukes, the Duchess or the Marquess course is truly memorable In 1974 the late 14th Duke of Bedford had the foresight and courage to see that a world-class golf facility could be created at Woburn. The Duke's course opened in 1976 closely followed by the Duchess course in 1978 but the Duke always suspected that the very best piece of land had not yet been used and for many years hoped to build a third course. The new Marquess course was officially opened in June 2000 and designed with modern Champions in mind, it quickly became known as the best new Inland Course in Britain.
