Course details last verified 1 August 2026 from the club’s own website.

Woodlands occupies 275 acres of parkland on the edge of the Severn Valley, bordered by Hortham Brook and Shepherds Wood close to Bradley Stoke on the northern edge of Bristol. The club runs two separate 18-hole layouts, the Signature Course and the newer Masters Course, giving 36 holes across the site. The Masters Course measures 6,139 yards from the white tees, marginally longer than the Signature, and brings water into play on around fifteen holes. The Signature Course was built with USGA-specification greens and undulating fairways, and has water hazards on more than ten of its holes. Both are laid out on relatively flat, easy-walking ground typical of this part of the valley. The club also has a fishing lake on the grounds and keeps a comparatively relaxed approach to dress code compared with many traditional clubs, alongside green fees held below the regional average. Buggy hire is available, though alcohol is not permitted in them and drivers must hold a full driving licence and be at least 18. Bradley Stoke itself is a large, largely modern settlement that expanded rapidly from the 1980s onward as part of Bristol's northern growth, built across ground that was previously farmland between the older villages nearby.
