Bramshaw Golf Club

Bramshaw Golf Club, near Lyndhurst in the heart of the New Forest, is built around two contrasting eighteen-hole courses rather than a single layout, giving the site 36 holes of golf in total. The Manor Course is the more traditional of the pair, a mature parkland design with established trees shaping much of its strategy, while the Forest Course takes a different character, a heathland layout that brings the open, scrubby terrain of the New Forest itself much closer into play. Having two distinct courses on one site gives members and visitors the option of switching styles within a single visit rather than repeating the same test twice over. The New Forest setting means both courses sit among the free-roaming ponies and open woodland the area is known for, a landscape protected as a National Park that shapes the golf as much as any deliberate routing decision. The club operates seven days a week, with the pro shop and clubhouse both open daily through the winter months as well as summer, reflecting an operation built around steady year-round play rather than a strictly seasonal pattern.
