Burley Golf Club

Burley Golf Club was founded in 1905 and plays over eighteen holes to a par of 71 across 6,151 yards, on ground near Ringwood in Dorset close to the Hampshire border and the edge of the New Forest. Ringwood sits on the River Avon at the western fringe of the Forest, a National Park of ancient woodland and open heath grazed by free-roaming ponies, and courses in this district often occupy the same sandy, heath-based ground that supports that landscape.
