Bramshaw Golf Club

🤍

Bramshaw sits within the New Forest in Hampshire, not far from Romsey, and offers two distinct golf layouts on the same site: the Forest course and the Manor course. Both run through ancient woodland characteristic of this part of the New Forest, with mature trees framing the fairways and giving each round a strongly wooded, parkland character rather than the open heath found elsewhere in the forest. Having two separate courses under one club allows members and visitors to choose between layouts depending on preference or the length of round they want, rather than being limited to a single routing. The New Forest setting brings the usual considerations of playing golf within a National Park, including the presence of free-roaming ponies across parts of the grounds, a feature shared with other courses in this area. Bramshaw's position near Romsey places it within reach of both the Hampshire countryside and the wider New Forest towns, and the club's two-course structure marks it out from many single-course clubs nearby. The ancient woodland setting remains the defining feature of a round on either the Forest or Manor course.
