Bull Bay Golf Club lies on the northern coast of Anglesey, just outside Amlwch, a former copper-mining port that grew around the Parys Mountain workings before turning increasingly to tourism. The island of Anglesey sits off the north-west coast of Wales, linked to the mainland by the Menai bridges, and its coastline is designated for its natural beauty, with cliffs, coves and long sightlines out towards the Irish Sea. The club was founded in 1913, giving it more than a century of history on this stretch of coast, and plays over 18 holes. Golfers visiting Bull Bay are within easy reach of Amlwch's harbour and the wider Anglesey coastal path, which threads along much of the island's shoreline. The club's exposed, north-coast position means play here is shaped by the weather rolling in off the Irish Sea, as it is at many coastal courses along this side of Wales.
