Halesworth Golf Club
Halesworth Golf Club offers two distinct layouts on one site. The main Blyth course covers eighteen holes and plays to a par of 72 over more than 6,500 yards, kept in year-round condition by the green-keeping team. Alongside it, the nine-hole Valley course gives newer players a shorter, gentler introduction to the game, running to 2,280 yards at a par of 33 with a mix of three- and four-par holes, while still asking enough of low-handicap golfers to hold their interest. The two courses can be combined into rounds of nine, eighteen, twenty-seven or thirty-six holes to suit however much time a visitor has. The club runs junior coaching, keeps an active wildlife and conservation programme on its grounds, and has installed electric vehicle charging points for members and guests. A bar and restaurant serve golfers after a round, and the club hosts open competitions and charity events through the year, alongside a calendar of social evenings. Membership and lesson packages are available for newcomers, and gift vouchers can be bought for the pro shop or a round of golf.
