Northumberland Golf Club

Northumberland Golf Club is laid out at High Gosforth Park on the edge of Newcastle upon Tyne, on heathland rather than the parkland or moorland more commonly found in the region. The course dates from what golf historians often call the sport's Golden Age, having been shaped by two of the era's most significant architects, Harry Shapland Colt and James Braid.
