Rudding Park Golf Club
Rudding Park Golf Club forms part of a wider hotel and parkland estate on the southern edge of Harrogate, the North Yorkshire town whose Georgian and Victorian pump rooms once drew visitors for its mineral springs. Members get use of two layouts: the Hawtree Course, taking its name from the golf design practice behind it, and a shorter course better suited to quick rounds or newer players. Both sit alongside a practice ground open to members. Beyond the courses, the estate runs an intensive coaching break where golfers stay on site through their programme, plus a structured route intended to bring more women into the game from their first lesson onward. Golf days and combined stay-and-play packages pair a round with a night at the adjoining hotel, reflecting the estate's identity as much resort as golf club. Harrogate itself lies within easy reach of Leeds and York, close to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and is known outside golf for its gardens, including the RHS site at nearby Harlow Carr. Enquiries and tee arrangements go through the estate's reservations desk rather than a separate golf office.
