Isle of Wight On Isle Of Wight

Ryde Golf Club

🤍

Ryde Golf Club lies on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight, on the outskirts of Ryde off the A3054, the road that runs along the island's northern coast. Ryde itself is the island's main ferry gateway, linked to Portsmouth across the Solent, and functions as one of the Isle of Wight's larger towns alongside Newport and Cowes. The course sits inland from the seafront on ground typical of the island's gentler northern coastline, in contrast to the chalk downland and dramatic cliffs of the Isle of Wight's southern and western coasts around the Needles. As the nearest golf club to the island's principal ferry terminals, Ryde is well placed for visitors arriving by boat as well as for members living across the north-eastern part of the island, giving the club a role that combines local membership with passing island tourism.
