St Davids City Golf Club
St Davids City Golf Club takes its name from Britain's smallest city, a cathedral settlement of under 2,000 people at the western tip of Pembrokeshire. The area sits entirely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, one of only three coastal national parks in the UK, and the coastline here is a mix of cliffs, sandy bays and the offshore islands of Ramsey and Skomer, both visible on clear days. White Sands Bay, known locally as Porth Mawr, is a well-regarded surfing beach close to the city, and the Wales Coast Path runs directly along this stretch, linking St Davids to Solva in one direction and St Justinian's, the departure point for boats to Ramsey Island, in the other. The peninsula's exposure to the Atlantic and its wildlife-rich coastline, home to grey seals and choughs among other species, are among the main draws for visitors to this part of west Wales, of which the golf course forms one part.
