Taymouth Castle Golf Club

Taymouth Castle Golf Club sits within the wider Taymouth estate at Kenmore, on the Perth and Kinross shore of Loch Tay, in the postcode area PH15. The estate is presently the subject of an extensive masterplan, transforming the grounds into a residential community designed to sit alongside the surrounding countryside, villages and local customs. As part of these works, Perth and Kinross Council has approved a series of temporary diversions to protect visitors during construction, while the longer-term plan includes a safer, extended path network across the grounds. New benches, information displays and connecting paths are planned to open up further vantage points over the historic parkland and its heritage landscape, adding to the amenity for those exploring on foot as well as golfers using the course. Kenmore itself lies at the western end of Loch Tay, one of the classic settings of Highland Perthshire, with the Taymouth grounds forming a well-known backdrop to the village. Visitors travelling to play golf here are also within easy reach of the wider Loch Tay and Breadalbane area, known for its hills, water and estate architecture. The club's course forms part of this evolving historic estate.
