The Milford Haven Golf Club

🤍

The Milford Haven Golf Club lies in Hubberston, on the edge of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire. The town grew up around the Milford Haven waterway, a deep natural harbour running inland from the sea that has been used for shipping and fishing and, since the mid-twentieth century, for oil and gas, with refineries and terminals visible along its shores. Hubberston sits close to the harbour mouth, within reach of the town centre and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which follows the waterway before turning out along the open coast towards St Ann's Head. Pembrokeshire's economy has long depended on this stretch of water, and Milford Haven remains one of the county's larger towns as a result. The wider area combines industrial waterfront with open coastline, a contrast that marks out this part of Pembrokeshire from the more purely rural stretches further north and west.
