Chulmleigh Golf Course

Chulmleigh Golf Course is an 18-hole course in the small town of Chulmleigh, in mid Devon. Chulmleigh sits on a hilltop between the Taw and Little Dart valleys, in a rural stretch of the county well away from Devon's coastline, roughly halfway between Exeter and Barnstaple. This is dairy and farming country, with sunken lanes and wooded combes typical of inland Devon, and Chulmleigh itself is a former market town with a long history, its parish church visible for miles across the surrounding hills. A full 18-hole layout in a town of this size makes the club a notable local facility for the area rather than a resort destination.
