Slaley Hall Golf & Country Club
Slaley Hall Golf & Country Club is set near Hexham in Northumberland, England's northernmost county and one of its least populated. Hexham itself is a market town on the River Tyne, on the southern edge of Northumberland National Park and close to the line of Hadrian's Wall, which runs across the county a few miles to the north. The surrounding countryside is a mix of farmland, moorland and forestry, with the Tyne valley providing a more sheltered, wooded contrast to the open fells further north and west. A course in this setting sits within reach of both Hexham and the wider Northumberland countryside, including the Wall itself and the North Pennines to the south.
