Belton Park Golf Club

Belton Park Golf Club was established in 1890 within the parkland of the historic Belton House estate near Grantham in Lincolnshire, and its 27 holes are arranged as three separate nine-hole loops that can be combined in different ways. The Brownlow course, covering the first eighteen holes, plays to a par of 71 over 6,490 yards; the Ancaster, made up of holes nineteen to twenty-seven and one to nine, is a par 70 at 6,278 yards; and the Belmont, holes ten to twenty-seven, comes in at par 69 over 6,028 yards. This three-course structure gives members and visitors several different eighteen-hole combinations to choose from rather than a single fixed round, which is unusual among clubs of this size. The estate setting brings mature parkland trees and the wider grounds of Belton House into play throughout, giving the course a settled, historic character. Belton Park operates a full visitor programme alongside its membership, with member priorities acknowledged while visitors are still made welcome for green fee golf. The club's position just outside Grantham keeps it convenient for golfers travelling along the A1, and the scale of the site, three courses on one historic estate, marks it out from the area's smaller single-course clubs.
